A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck roughly 140 miles west of the Oregon coast at around 7.35am ET Monday, according to officials.
The earthquake struck deep beneath the Pacific Ocean and there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
No tsunami warning was issued, although residents in Salem and Rockaway Beach reported feeling the shaking.
