The helicopter that crashed was a VIP transport Blackhawk VH60. I wonder if the VIP was on board and who it typically transports.

The incident was captured on liveatc.net but tower audio sounds like pure garbage. Time of crash approx. 01:48 UTC/GMT AIRPORT CODE: KDCA

PAT25 (H-60) can be heard pretty well, female on the radio at one point, with a male later.

'Small' plane was a CRJ with 60 people on board. Sounds like the helicopter pilot was told to watch for the plane and follow it.
