“Well, everybody’s nibbling around the edges. Let’s go to the center of the bull’s-eye, the core problem. And believe me, everybody on the factory floor all over this country knows it. You implement that NAFTA, the Mexican trade agreement, where they pay people a dollar an hour, have no health care, no retirement, no pollution controls, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, and you’re going to hear a giant sucking sound of jobs being pulled out of this country right at a time when we need the tax base to pay the debt and pay down the interest on the debt and get our house back in order.”

John Deere also does not accept the right to repair the stuff you "own". They are part of the "you'll own nothing and be happy" movement, wanting to lease their shit including a service agreement. Maybe it's time that they are leaving the US.

They are also hiring brown people and using them to research "stolen" farm land from brown people years ago.

they've already lost small farmers. no one likes JD because it's all locked down with shit to prevent you from working on your own equipment. and, when you can get a JD tech to come, you have to pay him even for his travel time.

fuck 'em.

kubotas seem to have already replaced JD in my neck of the woods.

Good. This is what Democrats want. If this upsets you: Who did you vote for?

Unions support Dems, I guess they want to go out of business too.

shrugs they truly do. You'd think how after we had the greatest economy in recorded history for 4 years and that more "Union" type jobs were created during those 4 years they'd actually pause and think "Maybe we need to switch political parties....?"

But they won't.

I think many did, but the union leadership was steadfast in their support of the Dems. The rank and file didn't demand change as to where their money was going, so they get what they deserve.
