The idea is to run it out so we are at the mercy of other countries. That way, gas can be $10/gallon and they can usher in green energy, which is designed to be centrally controlled and shut off when nessasary.

I call bullshit. Natural "reserves" of oil found in the salt mines where it is "stored" near New Orleans? He couldn't "dump" the amount of crude under the ground in the gulf states.

I work in the oil and gas industry and go a lot of oil farms. Theres a lot of oil out there guys.
