Why risk your life for some millionaire franchise owner over $250 (the amount that is usually in the register)?

Pretty stupid dumbass move by the employee. Just give up the money, get out of the way, and keep your life.

Don't be a hero unless you've got the drop, the site, and a gun.

Since the money is fake and insured, Subway aint about to have an employee killed over it. You can thank the jews on this one

Can you imagine the insurance premiums if a major corporation supported a policy of the employees fighting back against armed thieves? Can you imagine the consequences if an employee got hurt or killed while following that policy?

Corporations vigorously discourage this behavior in their employees for a very good reason.

It's the same with restaurants and food stores throwing out old food, rather than distributing it to the needy. The cost of administering the distribution of the food and, more concerning, the potential for it to come back and bite the company on its ass far outweigh the cost of the food itself.
