I haven’t read Atlas Shrugged, but this makes me think of it.

It's a long book, but well worth it. In summary, the government is taking more and more control over private industry (the railroads being the example used) and siphoning off profits to support their pet social programs. As things get worse, the productive class drops out of the system to leave the parasites to fend for themselves.

I would love it if Galt's Gulch existed in the real world, but we play the cards we've been dealt.

The number of illegals and foreign-born on SNAP is disgusting. The system needs to collapse before it can be rebuilt from the ground up.
