This article is a terrible attempt at debunking actual facts. Almost all christian holidays have their roots in paganism. They were bolstered and spread in order to destroy/erradicate paganism. It's not just a convenient coincidence that most christain holidays coincide with a pagan holiday. Arguments like not the same day, they used evergreens but not from a christmas tree farm, they used mistletoe but for different reasons are all low quality gaslighting. People seem to like to forget that christianity was not exactly a grass roots movement, but rather a decree from a king that was forcefully spread.
