- Take 1 hour minimum each way from my home. Public transportation takes much longer per mile. When you factor in all the stops, the effective speed is about 25-30 MPH.
- Costs more. Only when you consider the dollar amount. A car can go anywhere, public transportation only has a very limited reach.

If you have to state that fact to anyone, means that they can't form their own thoughts. If I wanted to drive to the creek, get bitten by mosquitoes and absorb the serenity, then I could. Leftists argue back that there are shuttle buses that pass through; limited time window and costs more money. Argue back that mosquitoes suck; they do indeed but they don't kill you, grow a pair. Argue that they would rather go bowling; I like bowling just as well, but one is for fun, the other is for spirit, and there is no spirit in the city. None.
