I used to do that when I was a kid playing simCity 2000. Hike up tax rates a ton, piss off the population, then drop it a tiny bit to make them happy again.

The world is full of NPCs…….

Sloppy Joe in a suit pretending to ride a horse smiling with his stupid aviators? Even I stopped wearing those when I was about 20. What the hell is wrong with him?

The aviators are an appeal to get the young vote. Joe tries to be cool. I wish he realized at 81 he looks like a retard. That feeble moron would fall off of a horse quicker than he falls UP stairs or off of his bicycle.

He'd be in a wheelchair with a broken neck if he actually rode a horse in a suit with impaired visibility via the glasses and a mentally defunct mind affecting his coordination.

6¢ is a stumble at best, not a fall.

It's going to go down, they were artificially increasing the prices to get people into EVs. EVs aren't economical if gas is cheap. So they push shit that makes gas expensive. But EVs and expensive gas aren't popular items, so they make the last year of a cycle of forcing EVs onto people have cheap gas so they can make up bullshit excuses about how $4.50/gal had nothing to do with anything Biden did and they were never actually that high.

It'll be low $2.00 range for most of the US (read: swing states) by next September. No one will be talking about EVs. And then if Biden wins again (God help us all), it'll shoot right back up within 6 months. Obama did the same shit.

Ever since EVs got popular, you can see the pattern that any administration pushing EVs has gas prices significantly higher than one that isn't pushing it. W Bush, Trump, cheap gas. Obama, Biden, EVs, expensive gas. That right there is 20+ years of patterns.

I agree, with one small caveat. I'd say that EVs were never as popular as they've been made out to be. The same with solar power. The popularity was artificially increased by those administrations you mentioned.
