I get the distinct impression that many, if not most, of them actually believe themselves to be quite intellectually superior. I’m not sure exactly why, though. Perhaps because part of acting is that you are pretending so hard that you *are* the person in a certain role, you actually start believing it, if only at a subconscious level. So take this assclown, Takei, for example. He spent many years pretending to be some hyper-intellectual officer on an intergalactic spaceship..so now he actually believes he is as smart in real life as his character was presumed to be on that show. I dunno, it’s just a theory.
