Well, anyway, it means that you don't actually have to be physically present to talk to someone. Now, we've had much the same thing for a long time now, what with radio and telephones, but with the "intertoobz" you can sit in the safety and privacy of one of your mansions, naked from the waist down and even have yourself a nice wank while you're having a video chat plotting world-wide genocide and global domination with all your little rich friends.
