Stephen King is a hack.

Some of his early work was good, such as the The Gunslinger. (The rest of the series got worse as it progressed.) I also enjoyed The Stand, and maybe one or two more.

When put up against his contemporaries such as Lovecraft and Poe he's nothing. He's also a raging libtard. I'm not telling you who to like, I'm just stating my opinion.

Oh hell yeah, I totally agree with you. He's written three or four good books out of maybe 50. It's too bad he wasn't walking a foot or two further into the road back in 1999.

Stephen King. No real creativity, but damn, could he shovel out the junk food for your brain. If you read his books, you eventually come to realize that there are no great ideas there, no revelations, nothing special and unique. He is the product of his time and culture, and that culture was vulgar and low. He never rose above it. But he made a deal with Satan, and got rich. That's how all these people get rich and famous -- deal with the Devil.
