I think that some of the DC comic shows on the WB had been decent... Legends of Tomorrow was shit but I liked the Flash and the Arrow... so I gave Batwoman a try with the wife a few days ago. This show is utter crap and propaganda.
- Scene 1: She is a bad ass
- Scene 2: Who is this other chick? Oh, Batwoman is a lesbian
- Scene 3: Her Mom and Sister died in a car accident but that is not what really drives her. Batman sucks and got them killed... and she is a vegan.
- Scene 4: She is a rebellious bad girl... and what really dives her was getting kicked out of the military for being a lesbian. Love is lost when her lover denies their love to stay in the military. She is a jilted lover.
- The rest of the first episode: They introduce the villain who is only sort of interesting. A bunch of mediocre action fight scenes... Eventually the writers realized that "jilted lover" is not a great origin story. Batman is actually great and did not fuck up and kill her mom/sister. In fact he never gave up looking for her sister. So Batwoman's origin is that she is looking for her long lost sister.
- The last scene: The villain figures out that Batwoman is her sister. Batwoman figures out that her sister is the villain... yeah, Batwoman is just an angry lesbo.
