I wouldn't blame this on islam; Saudi Arabi, UAE, Qatar are all muslim and rich as fuck. This is about the people they let in: the lowest common denominator. The refugee hoards came and they were empathetic to the cockroaches' plight.

This is a classic example of "Import third world, become third world." SA and Rhodesia are other such examples
