A low IQ culture pulls us into much worse than mediocrity and passivity. It pulls us inevitably to nihilism and self-destruction; which is the point of the push. Any culture that cannot recognize that it is not an end unto itself is doomed to suffocate in its own ashes. Know that you are less than your creator. Know that you were given the ability to recognize that fact and aspire to overcome it. Know that that aspiration can never be achieved but never be discouraged. Use that perseverance to embolden your brother, support your sister, and teach your children. To my mind this is the intent of intelligence.
