It's exceptionally hard to deprogram someone taught the "truth" from 4-7 years old. To this day, I struggle with the simple concept that whiteheads come before blackheads, becuase I was told the opposite. I know reality now, but such a simple provable fact I have to bypass everytime I think about it and it still seems wrong. Thank God I didn't have a faggot K-2 teachers, or I'd be thinking I was wrong for being a white, heterosexual male.
