Its been far too long but the simple solution would be to calculate the whole, calculate the cut-out's based on the given info then subtract them. I am sure there are some tricks to make it easier but that's all I can remember this late in the day.

Yep. R is radius. Pirr for the area of the circle. Each corner is 1/4 of a circle. Subtract the cutouts on the two sides.
For the other two, 2*r is the distance of the square. Find the area of the square, the area of the circle. Subtract the area of the (square / 4) then add the area of the circle / 4.
