I have an interest in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It's the oldest surviving Chinese novel that's historical fiction. It's based on the late 100s going on into the 200s in ancient China. This is a time period when China split into a place ruled by several regional warlords and ultimately was ruled by 3 kingdoms. They would mention how the Han Dynasty lasted for about 400 years. I was aware the story starts with the Yellow Turban Rebellion. I started wondering what happened to make things so bad that the people were rebelling.

What I found out was that there was a series of emperors that were too young to rule. So they had their mothers and eunuchs running things instead. Basically, China turned to shit back then because the rulers didn't have any balls.

It reminds me of a story of a female prison warden. She was super strict and wouldn't let the inmates do what they call politicking. Basically one group says to another that they were offended by something and this group needs to do something to make it alright. She shut this kind of activity down and eventually everything built up where all the niggers and niggerish people went ape shit.
