Maybe I'm wrong, but I find the pro Palestinian movements encouraging. Pro-Palestinian is inherently anti-jew.
I've also seen stories which show how secure the Israel border is. Leads to easy discussion as to why jews in congress support US open borders, but rail for Israel's security.
All in all the whole situation while bad in some areas: global stability & costing US dollars in support. It has been good for conversation about Israel and jews.
