pharisees, "jew" wasn't a thing then (they were, but the label as "jew" wasn't). You haven't even glanced in a cursory manner at The Bible if you're unfamiliar with pharisees.

So were they the ancient Hebrews, descended from Abraham, or not?

My question was sincere, I'm trying to understand everyone's thinking and what has influenced them, this is an opportune time to talk about that, or provide a link.

David Duke rejects the "Khazarian" theory, but dunno what everyone thinks about him.

I've known of the Pharisees since Hal Lindsey (the deceiver) wrote his first book, mid 70s.

jews aren't Khazars aren't jews. The "jews are Khazars" is like saying "jews are White" (that was difficult to write). They subverted their way into the bloodline but are not Khazars. jews, all, there are no "tribes" of jews, are from a place called magog. Though not specific it's the best I've been able to narrow down to.
