I think they have a valid point in comparing it to the flu. It was always known to be a rapidly mutating virus. All RNA viruses are. Not only that but the spike protien is the fastest mutating part, and that is what the vaccine is designed to target. It can't be stopped with a vaccine for the exact same reason the flu can't be stopped with a vaccine. But you are right, as written the argument they make is stupid.
