I completely agree. I've endlessly stated we have all been bad stewards. All generations are to blame. While less frequently, I have many times pointed out shabbos goys (not that phrasing because I don't generally remember the phrase) have and continue to serve Jewish interests. At the end of the day we must stop infighting and stand together where it counts. Focusing blame upon ourselves is counter productive. We know who's pulling the strings and what's going on reasonably well. Fighting ourselves only serves Jews and is a huge distraction from evangelizing what's actually going on.
