I don’t know if that does fluorides too. I’d check to make sure first. But yeah that does sound like an easier way to go about it. Not installing that shit in my apartment though. Maybe one of my rentals get it half way installed then attach fully once I wanna move back in
It does. I even verified by buying a fluoride testing kit and testing samples myself. Black tea has fluoride but herbal teas do not. Black tea added back a bit less fluoride than my nasty tap water. We stopped drinking tea. Coffee didn't add any back.

Nope, it doesn't. I checked it. Tea does add fluoride to water - I think it concentrates it in the leaves from water it is watered with or from the ground. Coffee didn't add fluoride to the non-fluoridated water. Wine didn't either, although technically you aren't supposed to do the test on highly pigmented liquids - I watered it down, but it didn't detect any.
