I'm sorry. I'm not sure. I had assumed that it was that one, but I cannot verify for myself just yet. I think so though due to one of the others mentioning the "Abuse Complaint" button that is on the top right of that site's pages. They may have meant a different host though.

I have things blocked pretty good in multiple ways. I've tried to disable everything that I can (easily) disable to allow ads of any kind to get loaded. I've also tried from multiple browsers, including unaltered installs. It seems I would need to undo all I've done and reconfigure and remove a lot of deeper settings on my system and router to get any kind of ad on there to load for me.

Perhaps or or another person who is seeing ads would be so kind as to note the host that they are seeing them on.

Otherwise, I'll try to get over to a normie relative's place today and check from their normie computer using a normie browser that has no kind of adblocking to see which host is showing porn ads. Hopefully someone else will be able to chime in and verify that it is imgaa that has the porn ads on it before then as I'd really not like to go over there today.

Yeah it's imgaa if they're talking about the complaint button.

Thanks for the info!

You're welcome. Glad to try to help out!

I was seeing the ads on pic8 using chrome on my android phone. I switched to the brave browser and the ads are gone. I've been running scans on my phone trying to figure out if my phone is pwned or if it was the website.

Thanks for responding. Pic8 isn't the host of the images though.

When you click a pic8 link it will redirect you to one of several image hosts where pic8 has filtered the uploaded image out to. This helps so that a host going defunct or removing an image doesn't cause the image to disappear since pic8 will then switch to one of the other hosts that the image was uploaded to. It helps with image longevity and avoiding censorship of images by having multiple copies of it around the web.

The host that we were trying to identify with the porn on it was the actual website the image was hosted on that you were directed to after clicking the pic8 link. In this case it was imgaa that was the site with those ads on it. I believe picman has now removed it from from the host list that the uploaded image gets disseminated out to. Neither of us noticed the issue of it having porn ads on it due to both of us using thorough ad-blocking measures to keep all ads and tracking at bay while browsing the net.

Even default uBlock Origin should be enough to block those ads on that site though. Brave has built in adblocking I believe, so that likely was why they weren't showing in that browser for you. I recommend you add uBlock to your Chrome browser though, so you won't see ads anywhere when you use that browser just like when you use Brave.
