With Obama's "gov propaganda is encuraged" EO (which is the biggest clue the Trump was not on our side becuase he didn't reverse it), the news was deemed entertainment and they could lie through thier teeth to us. They were and are paid handsomely for positively mentioning talking points in media, whether it is social or broadcast and the older generation has a hard time recognizing the fundamental change that has happened.
