We only know what we read, you have people you trust, I have people I trust.
Whether those sources can 'come together' I don't know, but it's not that much of an issue for me.
Jesus explicitly calls them out and rebukes them for their false claims of linage.
Jesus upbraids them for much more damning things than lineage of course (if indeed he did do that).
