Short, ugly men are the most discriminated against minority in society.
One of my best friends is an awesome guy. Nice, honest, hard-working, can talk pretty knowledgably about almost any topic under the sun.
But Goddamn, he real short and real ugly. Like 5'2" and started balding at age 22 ugly. He got a fucking good job, keeps on getting promotion after promotion after promotion, and he works in an extremely competitive field.
But Goddamn, he is really ugly. And really short.
If you were walking alone in the woods, and you saw him, you would probably think to yourself
If I capture this odd looking creature, he will probably have to grant me a wish
The way women treat him is like he is subhuman. He is a nonfactor. If he thinks he has a chance with a girl, they take that as an insult.

You never seen em without makeup. Women are more insecure than you are. Or they wouldn't spend hours on their appearance with shit that makes them age prematurely(makeup). You roll out of bed, shower, shave, and you're good to go. Confident in your appearance, no makeup, no eye liner, no looking like a fooking whooore.

Would it be preferable if more humans looking like him run around? If not, these women are doing the world a favor. Harsh, but true.
I believe what really hurts is the hypocrisy, and the expecation that our flaws don't matter. Because all of society pretends your flaws don't matter.
This might be a silly example, but I've never felt insulted on poal. But in places that make a huge deal about banning people for profanity, I might suddenly feel salty about receiving insults. Because now there is this expectation, that this behavior is not acceptable. And you can't even reply in kind, as else it might be you who receives a 3 day ban.
Most of these women would likely pretend that they care more about personality than looks if you were to ask them, prior to them meeting your goblin friend. And it's of course what everyone tells us when we are children. It creates an expectation.
It honestly applies to the whole dating and partnership experience. By the time you're an adult, your head will be filled to the brim with false expectations because some assholes think the world will become a better place by lying to you about it.
That's kind of the problem.
While he has grotesque physical attributes, his mental capabilities are top notch.
I don't want more people that look like him walking around, but I do want more people that act like him walking around.
Well, you did say that he gets lots of promotions. Maybe one day he can get a good looking gold digger and hopefully their children inherit their mothers looks and their fathers mind.
And of course, it does rather suck to be loved for your income. On the other hand being loved for your body is also very transactional. Though if we're particularly cynical, even loving someone for their personality could be made out as transactional.
For example they might only love you, because you are a surrogate mother/father figure for them. Or because you are so gullibe and dependent. Or because you are like a psychiatrist with a shoulder to cry on and who doesn't charge hourly, and has sex with his patient too. Or because you make them feel youthful and desired. Or because you do all the boring household chores. Or because the sex is too good to miss out on.
Unfortunately if you have a major flaw that you must compensate somehow, the transactional nature of human relationships becomes much more apparent.
Alternatively, he must use his brain to code a dating platform for goblins.
Maybe a shift needs to take place where the focus isn’t on second-guessing what someone else might or might not want of you, to instead, being a happy and fulfilled single person.
That energy wasted on shit you can’t control is usually better spent on personal growth (lol).
You’ll end up with a lot more self-esteem and dignity if you aren’t trying to forget all the soul-crushing shit you did to try to compensate for a lack of height/looks/money,...etc.
As a young man i learned early to not give a shit about a woman or her thoughts. At that young age before my wife I was looking for women who would sacrifice for me not the other way around and i really couldn't give a rats ass about their opinions. I wasn't like swimming in potential suitors either I just didn't give a fuck. They were either coming along for the ride or getting the hell out of the way. Women cannot think like a man and they are not your equal they are your compliment.
