If one day there will be a law against using the wrong pronouns, your tax money has fed the police men, lawyers and politicians who'll enforce that law. And of course your money went to the universities who shaped culture to the extend that such a law can even be considered.

it's not the same.

You are right. It's not the same. Giving a quarter of your money to people who seek to enslave you and your children, who find you deplorable and hate your guts, is morally much worse than saying a couple of words.

But you are also right in stating that this happened long before your time. No one will fault you for doing the wrong thing. Because everyone does it. It became normal. Whereas with forced pronouns, there still a fighting chance. A side to be taken.

But once it has been sufficiently normalized and thereafter enough people forced into compliance (and it will start with losing your job, not with prison or gulags...), it will be just the same. I think we can observe this right now, with the lockdown and perhaps one day with forced vaccinations.

Yeh probably. I've sat across from people who have said they should just make it the law to have the vax so we can stop the lockdowns and get back to normal, with a straight face, thinking that made sense to them.
