In 2021, you'd think shit like this would be standard in most companies. But no- the vast majority of tractor trailer drivers are still practically blinded to objects directly behind them.
But you can be damned sure all kinds of objectively useless safety bullshit is purchased, at great cost (and probably inconvenience for employees) to the company. Drivers needing to be able to fucking see what is behind them, though? Meh, that's not high priority- we need to focus on more stringent covid testing!!

Funny thing is they are required on all new cars now. So fools will back out of their driveways using them and not see the oncoming car because they didn't turn around.
