The "I'm never coming home from work" truck.
That truck is nicer than my house.
What a waste of load space and fuel. You can make much more happen in less space if you do it efficiently instead of trying to fancy it the fuck up so hard.
You mad bro?
Anybody driving one of these isn't bumping docks. He's probably dedicated hauling aircraft parts.
You mean they can't get into docks so they are stuck trying to find niche work.
That turn radius tho. Hopefully they are hauling in a straight line.
Yes, most people are perfectly content to sleep in their 1987 Nissan maxima night after night.
Long distance truck driver- That is their main residence (ie house).
"Load space" isn't a thing, but that does affect your tractor's turn radius. It will up fuel consumption a small amount, that's fancy but mostly empty space and the weight premium isn't that bad. And we now have husband/wife teams on the road, and a good wife deserves some comfort.
I'm sure you'll also see some people use that cab and body on a shorter frame, omitting the hitch, and now you've got a million mile diesel RV.
Related. They do freightliner conversions. https://www.renegaderv.com/2022-renegade-explorer
Load space as in length of vehicle. It looks long enough to prevent in city turns. I would Def rock it as an apocalypse vehicle thougj.
Damn why buy an RV when you can buy that and make money when you want to?
That's what I was thinking.
Let's cook!
So this is what they mean about "work from home"
God that looks like it'd be a right bastard to make corners on with a load though.
I came here looking for an answer to this: Can that even pull a normal sized trailer anywhere except the mains?
Nope. It probably pulls a short low boy.
Damn I want
On the one hand, transmitting that much power over a longer distance seems like more cause with issues. On the other, he now has a lot more counterweight on the front.
I bet that guy is just banking all his money and planning for an early retirement. He is probably going sight seeing on his days off and then back to work in the same rig.
Awesome.
He is probably going sight seeing on his days off and then back to work in the same rig.
There's one that has a smart car on the back for this reason.
That is all kinds of amazing.
That house is nicer than my Truck.
