I've never seen "def" pumps in public. Even at major infrastructure businesses, def is actually an additive. Literally separate 55 gallon plastic drums that get pumped in after the fact.

Are diesel pumps significantly larger?

I drove a one ton diesel towing a 35 foot fifth wheel all over the country for four years, and definitely never noticed a difference in the size of the nozzle.

Granted I never tried to put a diesel nozzle into my car or a gas nozzle into my truck, but if there is a difference it’s not enough to be visually obvious
