.... How does he operate the truck safely without working legs??

I imagine some sort of hand braking/acceleration system.

The Jake brake and trailer brake are already applied by hand so I doubt it would be difficult to apply that to the rest of it.

There's quite a few of them out there though. I've seen them at fuel islands with chair lifts for their trucks and I'm starting to see more and more handicap truck parking.

The big one is the clutch for all of those gears that a truck has. I have never seen a clutch operated bu hand before.

That's most likely an automatic truck. Especially since its JB Hunt.

Soon there will be more people that can't work because of mandates than those that choose not to.

I'm really worried about that because I know drivers will be some of the first they go after. Wether it be the companies or the states we drive to.

I only have my CDL to fall back on for decent pay so I have no clue what I would do if I have to quit over this dumb shit. I'm definitely not taking it though.

One of my buddies already got fired. The story was kind of funny because they really needed him so when the deadline came and went they were like, "Did you do it?" He told them, "nope." They said, "We really need you, we'll give you an extra 30 days." 30 days came and went and they asked, "Did you do it?" He told them, "I already told you it's not going to happen." Then they actually fired him.

That sucks for him but I believe he did it the correct way. That's the route I plan to go. Get fired just incase I can pull off a lawsuit later.

I do have the advantage of working for a small fleet that doesn't care for this horseshit so hopefully it won't come to that.

a good friend of my dads was a tree cutter one rainy day he fell from the top of a tree and broke his back he cant walk anymore he will never walk again. guess what he does now? hes a tree cutter. he just uses more tools now. he has hand controls in his truck pulleys for climbing trees. he acts no different now than he did before the fall if anyone deserves a miracle its that guy. i hate seeing bad shit happen to good people while cunts live for absolute ever.

Anybody know where this is?

If this is USA, I'm kinda of surprised they don't have some kind of robot to assist this man into the vehicle.

I'll bet you he refused any kind of special treatment. I'll bet this guy said "I don't need a special truck, just my wheel chair and a stick, I don't want anyone's pity, I've got work to do."

I'm sure he could have a lift installed on the passenger side, then scoot from his chair to the driver seat, but that is a lot of extra weight [more gas] to haul around.
