That's a great metaphor for how enforced government compliance works.

Metaphor? No. That's LITERALLY how government compliance works.

The ONLY reason this guy went out of his day to do this is because there is a law somewhere on the books and this is how to be in compliance with that law. He didn't waste 5 minutes of his time doing this because he's stupid. He wasted 5 minutes of his time doing this because because he's smart.

Unsecured load. They will also charge you a fee at the dump in some places for it too. Lol.

[–] 0 pt

Doing it the correct way probably violates some law too.

I don't know because I'm not in the industry, but it would not surprise me at all if there was some retarded fucking law that says ANYTHING has to be strapped down and the driver knows exactly how retarded it is, but he has to in order to keep his license.

Or ya know....could just be some dumbass high school dropout who happens to drive a truck

Who knows who did this or why. I drive a forklift 40+ hours a week and strap shit down constantly. Even high school drop outs aren't THIS retarded...

Ideally you would have thrown some tarps over all of that and then strapped them down.

Yeah. And using a flatbed for shit like this seems kinda dumb too. Maybe it was an emergency situation or something. But yeah....use a dump truck or something.

But judging by the palm trees in the background, this could just be another incident involving FLORIDA MAN

Probably needed to keep the different rocks separate. Hard to do that in a dump truck.

Probably fully college educated. A high-school dropout who now drives trucks is probably better off.

I'm 31, left my "college degree" job when the Corony BS started. Now operating a forklift and making close to $5/hr more, looking to become a truck driver and would start out making double. Fuck everyone that all but forced me to go to college after high school because "you're so smart" (I pleaded with them that I just wanted to start working 40+ hours a week in a factory after high school...then I have to sit here and listen to how people my age are lazy or something...)

I paid off two of my (now ex) wives 50k college loans with my hs dropout ass . They make 1/4 of my mid 6 fig salary.

[–] 0 pt

This is not your average retard, this is advanced retardation.

“Wtf! When I left these were tight!?”

If you add just one twist to your slap straps they won't slap. They've been tested to see if that compromises strength. It doesn't. If anything the vibration of slapping increases rate of wear and chance that it will break while on the drive. Hella unlikely but still, it means there no compromise to safety and if anything gives a slight improvement.

I believe loose fill like this needs sides on the carrier not straps since it can easily slide/roll off the bed from road vibration.

[–] 1 pt

How strongly do you believe that? Any ancient manuscripts that back up these beliefs? Do you believe these "road vibrations" are cause by UFOs or reptilian?

Tell me you're white without telling me you're white.

You're fucking with me, right?

right? :D

there is a reason why dumptrucks have a roll up cover they have to use when they have a load in the truck. that picture does not look like it came from the us, though

In the state I live in, all loads must be tarped or strapped. This is in compliance. I see this all the time on trailers with grass clippings or similar in smaller trailers.

The interesting thing is due to the cavitation wind forces around the trailer, I highly doubt he lost any of the load.

Obviously, in an accident this would go everywhere ... but a small tarp isn't going to do jack in an accident. So, yeah....

A certain Kansas song comes to mind here...

Would probably still get a ticket for not having it covered with a tarp.

Must be either a stupid brown "person" or a fucking retarded millennial.
