That's pretty lame. If I lived in a more appropriate climate for them I'd love one. Yes transplanting a tree costs more but a lot of home owners would love to have a fully grown peach tree replanted. Even if it was just a small percentage of the one's they're destroying, there's money to be made there.

So, no other corp. Or farmer wants those trees? They must be destroyed? Another step in Californias destruction, and more food to be imported, not grown domestically.

Yes. It's going to be a bumper crop year for peaches, and since the government knows best the farmers ought to overreact and destroy their investments.
