False.

Cigarettes are more of a risk factor, along with living in a dense urban environment, drinking soda and watching TV.

Schizophrenia is the result of stochastic dopaminergic systems and cannabis specifically binds to the anandamide systems.

Schizophrenia also is the result of a variety of contributing factors and they all don't present the same, in regards to the physical damage to the brain. About 30% of schizophrenia cases are "typical" in that they have crevassed channels where dopamine literally has trouble jumping synapses. 70% of cases are atypical, in that there are other underlying biological mechanisms... with the commonality being interrupted dopamine transmission.

defending (((dude weed)))

Fuck off faggot. (((weed))) is insanely harmful to anyone under their young 30s.

There are many reasons it causes harm.

I didn't say it doesn't cause harm.

You are literally making a straw man argument and putting words in my mouth.

Why be so (((intellectually dishonest)))?

My explanation is perfectly accurate and I know it's accurate because I, myself, for the pinnacle of my education, did a study on this exact subject.

Weed does not contribute to schizophrenia. That is what I said and that is what you will not be able to refute.

First, take a look at the common brain scan for typical presentation of schizophrenia. There is a word for the atypical shape. ventriculomegaly.

Schizophrenia, specifically, is the result of this type of cleave in the mind, where dopamine systems are interrupted and cannot jump the channels like normal people experience. While all schizophrenic patients do not have the ventriculomegaly, it is the first clue that poorly performing dopaminergic systems are the source of the symptoms.

We, then, learned that fucked up reward systems in childhood also create stochastic dopamine channels; literally people who don't know when they will be rewarded if they do right or wrong.

Point being, weed works on what many are now calling the endocannabanoid system, which is really just a series of anandamine receptors.

But, maybe my degree in neuroscience is a little out dated.

When did you get yours?

Any drug that fucks with your thinking is a drug you should run away from.

It's fat solubility doesn't help either. What the fuck do people think is happening as weed's active ingredients stay in the body's fat for a month plus?

hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr but it's a natural plant!!!!

Wanna go get high off of some arsenic?

Drugs with psychedelic effects cause psychosis, it's in the name. Doesn't last forever but if you're already crazy it can tip you over the edge. Especially if you're a compulsive type who ends up smoking all day every day.

I lived with a clinically diagnosed schizophrenic. She smoked a lot of pot. But I don't know if the pot use caused the schizophrenia, or if the schizophrenia caused the pot use.

Who said that? Sounded like it came from the people that told me Covis was real.

I do enjoy how the potheads vigorously defend their reason for living. Weed is a degenerate nigger and beaner habit the media jews mainstreamed into white society for the damage it causes.

Be careful with any MSM "studies". Either post/read the study itself or ignore it altogether. According to MSM studies over the years, cancer has been cured a million times, chocolate causes cancer and cures cancer, wine does the same, and vaping is more dangerous than smoking. And generally a single study doesn't mean much, you need multiple studies confirming the same thing before it should be taken seriously. And if a study isn't cited by other studies, the consensus is that it's a worthless study. See a lot of feminist "studies" that have been cited zero times.

Correlation does not equal causation.

That being said, abuse of anything indicates an imbalance is present.
