From the post:

>TSA PreCheck and Global Entry will be suspended at US airports starting Sunday due to a weeklong funding lapse at the Department of Homeland Security. DHS administers both of these programs, which allow travelers who pay a yearly fee to get through security lines faster. PreCheck is exclusively for domestic fliers, while Global Entry can be used to expedite waits for those returning to the US from abroad. DHS said pausing these programs is an emergency measure to shuffle staff around after Congress could not agree on a funding package for the agency by the February 14 deadline, causing a partial government shutdown. PreCheck and Global Entry will no longer be available from 6am ET. In a statement to The Washington Post, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said the agency is 'making tough but necessary workforce and resource decisions' while prioritizing the 'general traveling population' at airports and ports of entry.
