A total of 1,874 passengers and 883 crew are aboard the Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas ship where the outbreak took place. That means a little less than four percent of passengers have been infected. The CDC qualifies a cruise ship outbreak as at least three percent of a more than 100-passenger vessel falling ill.
