Good to know. Won't use them.
What about traditional smaller-than-the-size-of-a-golf-ball dents or bill-size scratches?
Well if every user creates such dents and scratches, the car will look like shit after a couple of weeks. Just treat what you rented as if it were your own. It's possible. As for dents made by niggers on a parking lot when you're not there, I must admit, I don't have a good solution.
I stopped using Hertz and their subsidiaries a couple of years ago after they kept trying to force me to rent electric vehicles. This tactic doesn't surprise me at all. Of course, they don't fix the "damage"
This is predatory. Drivers should not be charged for what should be considered normal wear and tear. Hertz is already struggling. Pissing off what customers you have left to make a quick buck isn't going to end well.
