I want to maybe get away for a few days in March (domestic flight) and I’m not vaxed.

It looks like I can travel within the country unvaxed, but they’re asking for a Covid test. Is this necessary? Will I be asked for a negative test result before boarding? Will they break balls about the vax eveb though the official guidelines make it more like a suggestion?

Drive, man... drive. With the radio OFF.

If it were me, I'd be avoiding plane travel at all costs. Don't think I could sit there and take being told "sir, for the last time put your mask up" over and over again during the flight. Who the fuck are these people to tell me to put on a mask? They take care of an airplane and fly it, they are not doctors and nurses. We'd be making an emergency landing over this mask thing, because I will take it that far. 30,000 ft altitude and a cop waiting for me on the ground isn't going to stand between me and my principles.

Love to see the countryside while driving through the states.

I stopped a bus once over this mask shit and made everyone deboard. Then I would just wear it to pay my fare and take it off as soon as I sat down. I don't wear it on the train at all and I wear it probably 20-30 minutes a day at work. For a flight, I would wear it because I don't want to take a car or a train for 15-30 hours.

I don't want to take a car or a train for 15-30 hours.

Used to be like this too. Wasn't until I had a job at one point that had me driving a big ass van all throughout the midwest states, that I realized how much I appreciate the road vs the sky. The road comes with this sense of freedom that can't be beat. And I like to drive with the radio/cd/tape player off, haven't turned that thing on in years.

The trouble starts when I have to travel with someone who doesn't want to stop for anything. We're stopping every 200 miles, motherfucker, because I have to piss, and I saw some thing back there I want to check out.

Domestically you only need a covid test for Hawaii I believe. I’ve flown to California, Arizona, Washington, Nevada, Colorado, and Missouri and you only need to wear a mask while on the plane. They don’t give a shit about vax status or testing.

Oh, if you can fly to Cali without getting a stabbed or swabbed, you can probably go anywhere, then. I feared buying a $350 ticket and being turned away at the airport or something.

Part of the ticket buying process involves agreeing to all the rules like no lithium batteries in checked luggage and wearing a mask. If they have requirements this is where they'll tell you so don't worry about them surprising you when you get there.

I know someone who just flew, I'll try to find out if they checked anything and how rigorous the check was.

I haven't flown recently but I flew probably 4 or 5 times since covid started and they never cared about a negative test or vaccine. Just had to wear a mask the whole time. Other than that it was mostly normal but things may have changed who knows.

Even if you can get on a plane to fly to you holiday vacation in the sun, what really matters is being able to get on a plane to fly back.

I'm going domestic, but I agree. I haven't even been in an airport in 11 or 12 years.

Flying is fake and gay. Just because you slap 2 ton metal wings in a 3 ton bus doesn't mean it can flit through the air like a bird. They don't even fucking flap.

I asked my friend. They didn't check vax or ask for a negative test. Just the mask rule.

You should pack a burger King crown in your carry on just in case shit gets real though

I've not been asked about a vaccination on an airlines.

Well, I heard that if you submit to dual Covid and DNA tests via anal swab, that they allow you to fly as long as you have a ball gag under your double mask and salad station plexi-visor

I wouldn't fly that airlines.
