Maybe modern aircraft need a "drop chute". Too bad it would have to be like 10x10 ft because some people could not fit in a small tube... Hell even give them a (working) parachute.

That’s because all airlines carry plastic tie wrap restraints. Designed to restrain a person like handcuffs. Using duct tape is dumb and is bad optics, lol!
