Bible's slightly waffly about secrecy, that nothing good is done in secret, but then again God knits people together in the womb in secret, so.

i get wanting and respecting privacy, or planning a surprise for someone. but those secrets come out. people are born, surprises are had.

but weird hush hush oath secrecy that people have to chop off finger joints for breaking - yeah, not good.
