If it’s a kid, I feel sorry for them. They are mentally immature and being taken advantage of by adults who know better.
Mentally immature certainly, but a five year old knows lying is wrong.
But if it’s a five year old being manipulated by an adult into believing things that aren’t true, it’s not the five year old’s fault.
And it’s especially egregious when that adult is a parent or trusted authority figure.
Don’t dig your heels in on this one. Blaming kids for being manipulated by adults is not only a bad look, it’s 100% fucking wrong.
I dont care about your opinion of "looks". Thou shalt not bear false witness. Just like thou shalt not murder, thou shalt not steal, etc. If an adult tells you to jump off a cliff because you're a bird, you tell them to eff right off. If they tell you that you're a boy and to slice chunks of your body off, you call them a liar and run the eff away.
If this degenerate (who's now a legal adult) started with "I lied for years, suffered horribly from it, will never lie again, and want to warn everyone not to repeat my sins"...I'd have some sympathy. Instead the degenerate is blaming everyone else.
There will always be evil butchers in medicine. They bear their own sins. As does anyone who follows blatant lies from them.
