thank you, sir, for volunteering to be one of the 42%ers
I thought I read somewhere that it was closer to 74%. I have a feeling that they are fucking with the numbers because "affirming care". Now they can claim it was not a "trans" it was a "girl" not a "man that thought he was a girl" that ended themselves.
74% seems too high....honestly, 42% suicide rate seems high as well. Regardless, it's higher than the standard, uninsane populace, which is a good thing. I suppose it would be good be able to track the real trends, though...and see it increase before ultimately plateauing as society pushes back on their delusions.
Take this with a huge shot of salt since it's the "ai response" but it matches what I was reading for a few years. The "new" numbers around 40-ish% I have only seen in the last 2 years or so and at random which is why I don't believe them. It's part of the "would you rather have a dead son or a living daughter". It's more commie/marxist propaganda.
>The suicide rate among transgender individuals in the United States has been consistently high, with recent data indicating rates significantly above 70%. In 2022, approximately 80% of transgender people in the U.S. had considered suicide, and around 40% had attempted suicide, showing an upward trend since 2000 when the considered suicide rate was 61%. A 2024 survey by The Trevor Project found that 46% of transgender and nonbinary young people seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year, with 39% of all LGBTQ+ youth reporting the same. In specific states like California, 54% of trans and non-binary youth considered suicide, and in Texas, the rate was 56%. These figures demonstrate that the rate of suicide consideration among transgender individuals is well above 70% in many recent studies and surveys.
