I called KTLA and suggested a news topic for their celebration of ‘pride month’. I recommended they run a story in memorium of their deceased colleague Chris Burroughs. For those who don’t know, Chris Burroughs was a newscaster who presented himself as a clean cut, religious catholic, married, family man. His sudden death proved him to be something else. He died a shameful and embarrassing death, as a secret homo. He overdosed on amyl nitrate in a hotel room with a random ‘stranger’ he met on grinder while wearing nothing but a leather mask over his face. Not sure of the name of the random stranger but I’m pretty sure he was one of the regulars on the Big Bang Theory tv show. I hope they all take pride in that shame and embarrassment.
