Stray or not this was an incredibly cruel thing to do. as for "they COULD carry disease" that's a load of bullshit people use to justify cruelty. I've been cleaning up the messes that fuckers like this have been causing for over 30 years. I've been bitten, scratched, puked on, shit on, pissed on etc., by I can't COUNT how many cats. NEVER got a "disease" from any of them. The world is just full of cruel fuckers and that's that. They can use any justification they want, they're just cruel garbage. If it was a stray, is it protocol to get it out? I would assume it is. It can carry disease.
Did the conductor ask all the passengers to check their pet carriers? Are the pet carriers with the passengers? Was there an announcement before onboarding that someone may be missing their cat??
