The USDA estimates that parents can expect to pay between $15,438 and $17,375 a year raising a child in 2022, which can vary based on region and household income level.

$17,375 ÷ 12 months = $1447.9 per month

If you take the tips it will reduce costs, your milage will vary.

I feel like that seems like a lot. Cost depends heavily on if you have a stay at home mom or need to rent a mom. Send to a high end daycare / private school or public / cheap daycare etc.

As much as I HATE public schools. I'd rather have 5-7 kids and just make them unprogrammable at home than have one kid and private school.
