My husband almost always asks if I want something when he goes to the convinent store. I often say no but I always appriciate that he asks. Or sometimes he won't ask and will just pick me up a pop.

Another example would be to ask if your nursing wife wants some water/phone/phone charger. . . You get up to get a drink or a snack ask if she wants one too.

This idea works both ways of course, just thought I'd share a small thing my husband does that makes me feel thought of and loved.

I am asking that question to the point of annoyance with a kid on the way in the next 20 days. She still appreciates it. The bonus side of being a nagging Nelly is that after 6 or so hours I get told to "Go work on something and drink beer or whatever.", can't complain.

Yeah, I do the best I can and lay it on thick sometimes.. Step back when needed but always let her know everything I do is for her and the kids.

And yeah, October 15-30ish... Yikes, here we are again.. We all are October kids, all five of us. February is a cold and boring month and I suppose that is the main reason.

A pop? Is that a coke?

It is what it be, what you highfalutin city folk call "soda".

I think this is a big deal. It's nice to be able to make small gestures like this.

I normally wake up a bit more easily than my wife in the morning and will often take 2 minutes to make her a cup of tea. She never asked me to do this, but I know she enjoys it.
