The last one is spot on. It makes sense and it's the mom's role but it is nice for the dad to recognize this.
I'm lucky enough to have a husband who understands that I can't always keep a clean home and happy healthy well educated kids. He has never once asked "what did you do all day?" So this one is true although it reads like the writer is saying don't try although maybe I'm reading into it.
As a stay at home mom I do need breaks from the kids but that has to be a trade off with the husband who works all day and just wants to come home and relax. That point of needing a break from the kids the way she puts it comes off as pretty entitled and does not seem like she is thinking about how her husband feels when he comes home.
