I think skankiness is a frame of mind that results from both biological, and social peer group mating pressure. It is a mating strategy, but merely one among several mating approaches.

Raspiness of voice is not necessarily directly related to skankiness, although there is also nothing that precludes including it as part of the overall mating manipulation tactics women will employ. For example, you can see young Asian girls doing the whole submissive super cute thing, which many men also find very pleasing, because that also works in attracting a man. Does that make supercute any more or less skanky than raspiness?

Women who behave like whores do so because they believe that is what men prefer, and some men do prefer it. It is a traditional proven approach in it's own right. The path of least resistance. It can also be financially rewarding while physical attractiveness remains, and can generate continued financial returns as physical attractiveness wanes later in life, merely by increasing the skankiness to offset the decline of beauty.

Trad women utilize the polar opposite of this approach in preference of selecting for a male perceived to be more suitable to long term family stability, improved child development, and improved old age financial security. Does this mean a trad woman will not have a raspy voice? Not necessarily at all. Certainly not when she thinks she needs one.

For example, there's the whole British Empire upper class approach of female mating selection, with a woman who is the absolutely proper Mary Poppins in public, but a total whore in bed, who may or may not also be raspy. Some people prefer this simply because you get the best of both worlds. It's safer to go out in public without risk of social embarrassment, to venues where little miss Asian supercute would be highly frowned upon for the whore she actually is.

Any woman knows exactly what miss supercute is doing. I mentioned above the social peer group pressure that dominates so much of female group interaction and social ranking, etc. It is safe to speculate that AOC is excluded from so much of the Democrat congress in part because her mere physical presence highlights the severe wrinkled dried out haggishness of the senior Democrat congress to an even greater degree. Raspiness will also be used by the women in this social arena, along with the rest of their arsenal, as they seek to maintain and enhance their peer group standing.

I believe we need much more observational data before we can attempt to confirm raspiness is more than partially correlated to skankiness.
