Been wanting to do this forever. Neighbor left out corn for animals, dried naturally so I didn't have to do that part, but could only drill a 3/4 chamber which is less desirable. Was gonna get bamboo for stem, but decided on hollowing pith on a stick the hard way. Not bad, but still needs breaking in.

I had to contact Missouri Meerschaum because I kept getting holes in the bottom of my corn cobs... the lady I spoke to said to mix ash with spit and keep packing the bottom of the bowl. I found that interesting, since I didn't see that tip anywhere online.

Ah, maybe try honey? Read that's a good treating method for breaking in a new one at least. Knew this guy wouldn't last long, but it makes a nice decoration

So you just coat the bowl with honey then smoke it?

Suppose so, but not sure about the hole. Honey is pretty fucking immortal though. Still preserved with them Egyptian mummy niggers(sic)
